StartLogic is a leading provider of web hosting solutions. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, they host over 50,000 websites for thousands of customers worldwide.
Basic Package
For $7.50 a month, you get all the basics: one free domain, hosting of six domains and 20 subdomains. Setup is free and you'll have access to SSL, web mail, and a shopping cart. You also get the usual web page development tools like FrontPage extensions, PHP and CGI-BIN. StartLogic allows up to 50 MySQL databases.
StartLogic provides 5G of storage and 100G of bandwith, quite a bit less than the front-runners, which typically provide 250G. They do provide several different plans to accomodate higher storage and bandwidth needs. We like this flexibility, but it will cost a bit more, obviously.

StartLogic often runs "startup specials" to get your business. At the time of this review, for example, they were offering two deals: (1) First three months for $1 and (2) $30 for your first year if you transfer your domain from one of their competitors.
Basic online customer support tools are provided on StartLogic's website, but most of them are pretty weak and offer only superficial information. They do offer toll-free 24/7/365 phone support, but we didn't have a chance to try it for this review. StartLogic has a 99% uptime guarantee and claims a "no questions asked" refund policy.
